Afternoon:

Bench press - 65lbs 1x5, 80lbs 1x5, 95lbs 1x5

5/3/1 Backoff week.

Mark, lol...yes I do. I've committed myself to my barbell routine for at least another few months. I will be using them regularly at some point in the future. I want to hit some very basic barbell based strength goals first.

good to hear,lol.personally I believe still using some swings at the end of the routine, especially the power swing, would really help your squat and deadlift.I wish I had used it when I was powerlifting

Thanks Mark. I was using double swings as my assistance exercise after squats when I first started 5/3/1. I switched to the light deadlifts, but I take your advice seriously and will definitely think about plugging them back in there.
